Hua Hin:One Of The Best Tourist Attractions In Thailand

Hua-Hin was the city that Thailand’s royal family and especially former kings were the first to set this location on the map as the original seashore destination in Thailand. The 5 km long beach itself is pretty and the sea is relatively clean.

Hua Hin is located 200 kilometers south of Bangkok, making it easily accessible. It used to be a small fishing community until the arrival of the railway line connecting Bangkok to Surat Thani in the south. Today Hua Hin's railway station, still showcasing the old royal waiting room on the platform, has itself become a popular historical attraction.
Hua-Hin is a famous place in Thailand if you enjoy sunbathing snorkeling, swimming and activities such as golf, spas, caves, peaks, waterfalls, shops, seafood and nearby national parks.
In recent years, Hua Hin has seen tremendous growth in tourist arrival numbers and, apart from its great weather and close proximity to Bangkok, these are not the only reasons.

The benefit of staying in a beach side retreat here is that beaches are not over crowded and the noise of tens of jet skis do not disturb your peace. The main beach does offer a host of other family friendly activity. Pony rides for the kids, kiting and kiting lessons, wind surfing and banana boat riding. The beach also shelves very slowly and there are no big waves making it safe and ideal for swimming.

A short, scenic drive brings you to Pala Ou waterfall featuring several tiers and perfect for hot days of fun and picnic. The area has also become famous for its world-class golf courses, both in Hua Hin and neighbouring Cha-am. Finally, Hua Hin is famous for its restaurants serving both delectable Thai, other Asian and western favourites. Many of these are located on the pier, along the beachfront or in tranquil garden settings.

The nightlife is moderate, but down town Hua Hin has an uplifting and exiting atmosphere and strolling along the winding, narrow little streets you can amuse your self with the many sites, smells and sounds. If  you are looking for some information on local dishes please visit my website at:thaifood.smileblogger.com
